Trenching
Sonsub has long aided the oil and gas industry by providing a variety of subsea support services including post-lay inspection and burial, as well as repair and maintenance. Thanks to our in-house trenching expertise and highly successful, state-of-the-art Innovator ® ROV design, Sonsub has been able to develop trenching technology capable of meeting the most challenging environments.
Sonsub owns and operates a number of systems for subsea pipeline, umbilical and cable trenching that allows us to provide safe and reliable solutions to the challenges faced during subsea burial operations. Such systems have been developed to perform in different soil conditions, from very soft mud to rock, in water depths of up to 2,500 metres and on steep seabed slopes.
